So, the title of the blog is our family motto "We Are Family" - pretty original and creative, I know! For those of you at our wedding you may remember this was the recessional song that we (mainly Brad) danced to down the aisle. March 27, 2004 was the day that started our little family.
And now our family is about to get bigger... here we are exactly 5 years later on our aniversary at the "Family Centered Maternity Care" birthing center taking natural childbirth classes. Not the most romantic way to spend an anniversary but we enjoyed it and it was very fitting since the pregnancy has marked the highlight of our past year together.
We are expecting our baby girl, Anna Marie, to arrive possibly any day now but her official due date is May 5th. Just an advanced warning, she will be the subject of most of our posts. Anna posts may be interspersed by posts with an occasional deep thought from one of us. I have really enjoyed reading my sister's blog and watching my little nephew Lucas grow up, and I figured it was time for me to give as well as receive! I am also horrible at taking pictures of our life and am hoping the blog will give me more motivation to do so. Enjoy and feel free to leave a comment.
