Daddy's Day

We had such a nice Father's day weekend this year.  On Saturday, Brad and I went ziplining together for the first time.  I've really come to like daytime dates!  We have more energy since we haven't been with two toddlers the whole day.  It was good to do something somewhat adventurous and fun together...we needed it!  Brad even turned upside down on one run (typical Bruce boy...although I will say they have all calmed down since having children!) and the crazyiest thing I did was a little spin.
Appy and Grandy watched the kids and when we got back, we took them to one of our favorite Fort Worth activities, the miniature railroad.
The girls were in their matching Minnie Mouse dresses that Grandy made them.
Haven has started smiling when the camera comes out, so I couldn't resist taking and posting all these pictures of her!

On Sunday, we got to celebrate the daddy of our house.  I love these pictures because they are playful and fun-loving.  The girls love to climb all over him and roughhouse much more so than they ever do with me!

We made this banner instead of a card.  Haven painted the W and Anna painted the rest of the letters.  Now it's hanging in Brad's office.
For months Brad has been wanting this ClearPlay dvd player so he can sit through an entire movie without having to get up and leave the room.  Basically, it edits out offensive content by skipping or muting it.  Some may argue that it interferes with the artistic content or compromises themes by deleting certain scenes, but we would rather deal with that than the alternative.  There have been a couple times when the movie suddenly skips at a climactic part and we just laugh!

  1. I love all of the these blog updates. You 2 are a cute couple with your wild dates! I love how the pictures of Haven captured her smile and how long and thick her hair is getting!
